Westec is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following positions:
Westec is looking for a project manager to manage enterprise level projects for some of our biggest clients.
You will be both responsible and accountable for the end to end completion of projects.
+ Job Responsibilities:
Leading project planning sessions
Ensuring Projects meet deadlines
Managing large and diverse teams
Coordinating staff and internal resources
Managing Relationship with clients and stakeholders
Managing project progress and adapt work as required
Actively manage of the project scope throughout the project.
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
+ Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
3+ years of working experience in the related field
Able to work overtime or on weekends depending on the requirements of the project
Experiences in technology company is plus (Alarm, CCTV systems, Access Control etc.)
Must be self-driven and have the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time
Ability to multi task and manage various project elements simultaneously
Overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion
Excellent English and interpersonal communications skills
Honest and hardworking with leadership skills
Capacity to manage high stress situations
Willing to travel out to the province
Note: This position is a long-term contract.
